The first month of spring has already surprised us with higher and higher temperatures. And in such weather it would be a pity to stay indoors, wouldn’t it? You have probably already thought of a few days’ escape, but if you have not yet decided on the destination, then it would be good to find out which are the five destinations favoured by Romanians at this time of year.

The Danube Delta is a thoroughly unique location in our country, and in the spring season it returns to tourists’ attention. We are talking about a protected area where you can admire a variety of rare species of plants and animals. In the spring months more and more migratory birds make their appearance in the area, and the landscapes seem taken from fairy tales.

Shades of green, the clear sky and crystal water – all these natural elements will make you forget the stress and crowds of the great urban centres.

2. Maramureș
