1. Who we are

The LocalTravel website (localtravel.ro and its subdomains) is operated by WE FIX BORING S.R.L., with its registered office at Str. Nerva Traian nr. 27-33, Sc. B, Et. 1, Ap. BIR. 6, Sector 3, București, România, CUI RO51591637, Nr. Reg. Com. J2025024957000 (hereinafter “LocalTravel” or “we”).

These terms apply to anyone who uses the site, including the trip planner and the quote request forms. By using the site, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. What LocalTravel is and is not

LocalTravel is a tourist information and promotion website. We present accommodations in Romania, destinations, attractions and travel guides, and we give you a simple way to request quotes directly from the accommodations that interest you.

LocalTravel is not a travel agency. Specifically:

• we do not sell or organise packages of travel services, stays or other tourist services;
• we do not make bookings on your behalf and we do not confirm bookings;
• we do not collect from tourists the price of the stay, deposits, guarantees or other sums, and we never ask you for card details;
• we are not a party to the accommodation contract and we do not represent you or the accommodation when it is concluded.

The accommodation contract is concluded directly between you and the accommodation. The accommodation is the service provider and is liable, according to the law, for the services offered, for prices, for classification and for the authorisations required for operation.

For tourists, use of LocalTravel is free of charge. Accommodations pay an annual subscription for promotion on the platform, with no commission on bookings or receipts.

3. Terms used

The site or the platform

localtravel.ro and its subdomains, with destination and accommodation pages, guides and the trip planner.

You or the user

any person who visits or uses the site.

Accommodation

the tourist reception structure presented on the site (hotel, guesthouse, villa, cabin, apartment and others), together with the natural or legal person that manages it.

Quote request

the message by which you ask an accommodation for the price and availability for a period and a number of persons.

Trip planner

the tool that proposes a route, stays and activities based on your preferences.

Content

the texts, photographs, maps, data, graphics and any other material displayed on the site.

4. Quote requests

You may send a quote request from an accommodation page, to similar accommodations or from the plan made by the planner. You complete the period, the number of persons and your contact details.

• By email, we transmit the request separately to each accommodation you chose. The accommodation replies to you directly, to your email or telephone.
• By WhatsApp, we open the application for you with a message already completed for the chosen accommodation. You send the message yourself, from your account.
• The request may also be recorded in the accommodation’s LocalTravel account, so that the accommodation can see it there as well.

A quote request is not a booking and does not oblige you to anything. A booking exists only if you and the accommodation agree on it, on the conditions set by the accommodation. We cannot guarantee that an accommodation will reply to you, how quickly it will do so, or that it has free places.

Before you pay a deposit, read the accommodation’s conditions: the final price, what it includes, how payment is made, how cancellation works and how money is refunded. Payment is made directly to the accommodation, to the account or in the manner indicated by it.

LocalTravel will never ask you for money, deposits or card details. If someone asks you for a payment in the name of LocalTravel, do not pay and notify us at contact@wfb.ro.

Use the forms only for genuine requests, with your own details. Do not send other persons’ data without their consent.

5. Information about accommodations and prices

Information about accommodations (description, photographs, rooms, facilities, classification, contact) is provided by accommodations, from their LocalTravel account, or comes from public sources, for example the official registers of classified tourist reception structures. Accommodations are responsible for its accuracy and may update it at any time.

Displayed prices are indicative. The final price, availability and conditions are those in the offer sent by the accommodation. When we do not have a price, we display “Price on request”.

Distances, travel times and map positions are calculated automatically and are approximate. Photographs are for presentation purposes.

We check information carefully, but we cannot guarantee all of it. If you see something incorrect, write to us at contact@wfb.ro and we will correct it.

6. The trip planner and the guides

The planner automatically makes a travel proposal (destinations, stays, attractions, restaurants and travel times), based on your preferences and the information we have. The plan is a suggestion, not a tourist package. We do not book anything from it and we do not guarantee the schedule, prices or availability of attractions and stays.

Guides and articles are for information. Schedules, prices and visiting rules may change, so check them at source before you leave.

Some information about restaurants and attractions (names, ratings, opening hours) comes from Google Maps and is displayed as such.

7. Order of results and ratings

On city and area pages, results appear by default in “Recommended” order. You may also sort them by distance, classification or price and filter them by accommodation type, stars and facilities. Facility filters use the information declared by accommodations.

If an accommodation’s position in the results is influenced by a payment, we will mark this visibly next to the accommodation.

Scores and reviews shown for some accommodations come from ratings recorded in LocalTravel. We do not alter them and we do not publish paid reviews. Ratings of nearby restaurants and attractions are those from Google Maps.

8. For accommodations

The relationship with accommodations is established through the subscription contract and the conditions accepted on registration, in LocalTravel Manager. In short:

• the accommodation pays an annual subscription for promotion, with no commission on bookings;
• the accommodation is responsible for the information published (including prices, photographs, classification and authorisations) and for compliance with tourism legislation and consumer protection legislation;
• the accommodation responds to requests received and uses tourists’ data only to reply to them and for the stay, as a separate data controller;
• we may restrict or suspend the display of an accommodation that publishes false or misleading information, breaches the law or these terms; we communicate the reasons to it, except where the law prohibits us from doing so.

We communicate changes to the conditions for accommodations at least 15 days in advance, other than those imposed by law.

9. What you may not do

• sending false requests, in someone else’s name or for the purpose of spam, advertising or fraud;
• using accommodations’ contact details for unsolicited commercial messages;
• automatically extracting content or data from the site (scraping, bots, mass copying) without our written consent;
• attempting to access our systems without authorisation, to overload them or to introduce harmful programmes;
• reproducing, republishing or selling the site’s content without our consent.

If you breach these rules, we may block access to the forms or to the site and we may notify the authorities.

10. Copyright and trade marks

The site’s content (texts, guides, maps, graphics, design, code) belongs to us or is used with the consent of the rights holders. Photographs and descriptions of accommodations belong to the accommodations or their authors and are published with their consent. The LocalTravel name and logo are protected.

You may share links to our pages. Any other use (copying, reproduction, republication) requires our written consent. If you have rights over material published here and believe it has been used without consent, write to us at contact@wfb.ro.

11. Reporting illegal or incorrect content

If you find on the site illegal or false information, or information that infringes your rights, write to us at contact@wfb.ro. So that we can check quickly, please send:

• the exact address of the page;
• what is incorrect or illegal and why;
• your name and email;
• a statement that the information in the notice is accurate, to the best of your knowledge.

We examine each notice carefully and without delay, confirm receipt to you and communicate our decision. If we remove or restrict information, we also notify the accommodation that published it, with the reasons for the decision.

The same address is our single point of contact for authorities and for users, in Romanian or English, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services.

12. Links to other websites

The site has links to other websites and services, for example accommodations’ websites, Google Maps or WhatsApp. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content or for how they process data. Read their terms and policies.

13. Limitation of liability

We strive to keep the site working correctly and the information up to date, but we cannot guarantee that the site will be permanently available or free from errors.

Because we are not a party to the accommodation contract, we are not liable for:

• the services of accommodations, their quality, prices, availability, cancellation or refunds;
• the acts, statements or omissions of accommodations;
• disputes between you and an accommodation, which are resolved directly between you; complaints about the stay are addressed to the accommodation;
• damage caused by using information from the site without checking it at source, or by interruptions caused by third parties or by force majeure.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, nor the rights you have as a consumer.

14. Personal data and cookies

How we process personal data is described in the Privacy policy, and cookies and similar technologies in the Cookie policy.

15. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add new features or when the law changes. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the date of the last update. We announce important changes on the site before they apply.

If a provision of these terms is held to be invalid, the others remain in force.

16. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you have a complaint related to LocalTravel, write to us at contact@wfb.ro. We reply within at most 30 days and we try to resolve the matter amicably.

As a consumer, you may also contact ANPC (Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection) (ANPC) or you may use alternative dispute resolution (SAL), at reclamatiisal.anpc.ro. Disputes that are not resolved amicably fall under the jurisdiction of the Romanian courts. If you are a consumer, you retain the right to bring proceedings before the court of your domicile.

Complaints about the stay itself (prices, services, cancellations) are addressed to the accommodation, which is the service provider.
