About Constanța, Mamaia, Năvodari, Mamaia-Sat

We are in the middle of the summer season, so we often dream of a stay by the sea. Nothing is nicer than enjoying the sun’s rays, lying on the beach and sipping a cold cocktail.

Among the favourite holiday destinations is the Black Sea, and that is no wonder, given that the scenery is unique.

It is worth knowing that the coast stretches for more than 245 km, with numerous modern tourism centres.

Many tourists first arrive in Constanța, a city with a special charm. With an international airport, a seaport and fast trains linking it with the capital, Constanța is considered an outstanding cosmopolitan centre of Romania.

Among the sights in the city are the ancient monuments, the casino and numerous fish restaurants.

From Constanța, visitors can head for the resorts where they will spend their stay.

Mamaia is the best-known resort on the whole Romanian coast, north of Constanța. It also has the largest number of places to stay, so it is no wonder that so many tourists choose to spend their summer holiday here.

Still developing, Mamaia welcomes tourists every year with something new. The fountains, the gondola and the double-decker buses are all to the taste of tourists who love fun.

The holiday atmosphere is felt at every step on the Black Sea beaches, and if you want a unique experience, you can also visit some unusual places during your holiday.

Wild beaches are increasingly appreciated by tourists, thanks to their unique natural setting. One example is Gura Portiței, a place that makes you think of a real paradise. Geographically, the narrow strip of sand lies between Lake Golovița in the Danube Delta and the Black Sea.

In days gone by it was just a fishing village, but today it is in great demand. The fine-sand beach, the fairly clear water and the peace all describe the atmosphere at Gura Portiței best.

In recent years more and more people choose to spend their holiday in less crowded places.

Corbu and Vadu beaches have already been included in the top of the most beautiful such places in the whole world.

The view is absolutely delightful, and the fish dishes served in the restaurants are delicious.

So we can see that diversity is the key word that best describes the Romanian coast. Whether you love taking part in the most exclusive events held in Mamaia or want to enjoy nature in all its splendour on Corbu beach, you will have a lovely holiday on the Romanian coast.
